If you are not a total real estate novice, I’m going to go on a limb and predict that you have had the following experiences:

• You have read a real estate book or article written for total idiots; it had no real content, wasn’t truthful, was a complete waste of your time, or was nothing more than a thinly veiled advertisement.

• You have had some really thoughtful debates over complex real estate issues with friends and colleagues where there were no clear answers, various cost, ethical and legal issues needed to be weighed against each other, or there was no consensus on the right strategy.

Well, this blog is an Expert Level Forum where we can discuss, debate, and argue about myriad real estate topics covering management, investing, financing, taxes, laws, rehab, zoning and much more.

The name of my company is Ask Nagel.  This suggests that I’m an expert, which I believe is true as I live, eat, and breathe real estate. With that said, any true expert knows just how little they actually do know and has a real thirst for knowledge. I can’t wait to learn from you all!
